About these terms
These terms apply to your use of theflippr.com and to reserving a Flippr. By using the site or making a reservation, you agree to them.
The site is run by PlayPulse BV, Tabakstraat 78, 9800 Wontergem, Belgium, enterprise and VAT number BE0753515596 ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].
These terms do not cover backing Flippr on Kickstarter, or using the Flippr scoreboard and its online services. Those come with their own terms, which we will publish before you can back or buy Flippr.
The reservation
What it costs
A reservation costs $1.00 (US dollars), paid through Stripe. Your bank may charge a currency conversion fee; we do not receive it.
What you get
When Flippr launches on Kickstarter, we email you an invitation to back it at the reservation price of $199 instead of $299, a saving of $100. We send it to the email address you used at checkout.
The reservation price is offered as an early-bird reward on Kickstarter, which is limited in time, quantity or both. The invitation tells you the limits. To get the reservation price, you need to back Flippr while the reward is still available.
What it is not
A reservation is not an order and does not commit you to buy anything. You decide whether to back Flippr when the campaign goes live. If you don't, you owe us nothing more.
Refunds
Your reservation is fully refundable at any time, also after the Kickstarter campaign launches. Email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout and we refund the full $1.00 to your original payment method within 14 days. Your bank may take a few more days to show it. A refund cancels your reservation.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also have a legal right to withdraw from the reservation within 14 days without giving a reason. Because you can get a refund at any time, this right is already covered by the refund above.
If we decide not to launch Flippr on Kickstarter, we refund every reservation.
Emails
After you reserve, we email you a confirmation and, at launch, your invitation. We also send reservation holders and newsletter subscribers news about Flippr. You can unsubscribe from news at any time with the link in every email. How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy.
The website
The photos, videos and descriptions on this site show working prototypes. The final product may differ a little as we prepare it for production, although our goal is to keep every feature shown here. Prices and specifications can change until the Kickstarter campaign launches; your reservation price stays as described above.
All content on this site, including the Flippr name, logo, images, videos and text, belongs to PlayPulse BV or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without our written permission, other than to share links to the site.
We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that it is always online or free of errors.
Liability
Our liability to you in connection with the reservation is limited to the amount you paid for it. This limit does not apply to death or personal injury, to fraud, to intentional or gross misconduct, or wherever the law does not allow us to limit our liability. Nothing in these terms affects the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the reservation offer changes. We publish the new version on this page with a new date at the top. A change never takes away the right to a refund of a reservation you already made.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute goes to the courts of Ghent, Belgium. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may also bring a case before its courts.
If you have a complaint, email us first and we will do our best to resolve it. If we can't agree, you can contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (consumentenombudsdienst.be).
